A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) involving the Philippine National Oil Company (PNOC), the Provincial Government of Bataan, and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Limay for the establishment of a housing project in Limay, Bataan was signed last July 23, at The Bunker.
According to PNOC President & CEO Oliver Butalid, they are willing to donate 7.4 hectares to support the housing project in the province. He added that they are aligning their vision with the province’s project to create a clean, green, energy-secure, and prosperous Philippines for future generations.
Among those present at the signing were Limay Mayor Nelson David, PNOC President & CEO Oliver Butalid, Senior Vice President for Energy Business Atty. Graciela Barleta, and PNOC Board of Directors Jasmine Oporto and Joel Caminade.
The signing of the MOU marks the beginning of a concrete step towards providing safe and decent housing for our fellow Bataeños. It likewise offers new hope for every Bataeño family who will reside here, fostering a community with a solid foundation and a bright future.
